HeartTALK by Prof. Grant Schofield, Professor of Public Health, Director, Human Potential Centre at AUT Millenium Centre

On the 5th August, 2021 Heartbeats sponsored a public talk by Prof. Grant Schofield, at the Mary Thomas Centre, Takapuna.

The talk, entitled “A New View of Diet and the Heart’ was attended by 70 people, that included Heartbeats members from across Auckland, cardiac and physiotherapy healthcare professionals and the general public. The talk presented a paradigm shift in thinking about heart disease, intergenerational lifestyle issues, and lifestyle factors, such as diet and exercise.
