Heartbeats Hibiscus Coast: Group Meeting

This local Heartbeats support group meeting will cover discussion on heart conditions and issues relevant to members as well as sharing their personal journey experiences. This is an Informal group meeting about sharing personal experiences, learning from others and gaining information on heart disease and heart health.

This event will be lead by guest speaker Tania Adams (Pharmacist, Unichem Manly).

Tania will be leading a general Q&A discussion on heart medications, their place in heart health management and side effects.

She will also be answering questions on the place of supplements, ‘are they really effective’?, ‘what is their place in a normal diet’? and the dosage that will have any effect.

Tania has owned the pharmacy for 19 years, is actively engaged in supporting the community and is a regular Health columnist in the Hibiscus Coast magazine: Local Matters.

This event will be on Tuesday the 4th of April from 10:00-11:30am at the Hibiscus Coast Community House, 219 Hibiscus Coast Highway, Orewa (behind Estuary Arts Centre).
